SERVICE (REPAIR) WARRANTY

ALL VALVES RECONDITIONED BY TOTAL VALVE SYSTEMS ARE WARRANTED FOR (1) YEAR FROM DATE OF TAG. THIS WARRANTY DOES NOT COVER MISAPPLICATION, EROSION, CORROSION, WEAR OR IMPROPER HANDLING OR STORAGE, MISUSE, ABUSE OR OTHER CONDITION BEYOND TOTAL VALVE SYSTEMS CONTROL. TOTAL VALVE SYSTEMS CANNOT BE RESPONSIBLE FOR RELIEF OR SAFETY RELIEF VALVES LEAKING ON STARTUP DUE TO TRASH IN THE LINE.

THIS WARRANTY DOES NOT COVER MISAPPLICATION, EROSION, CORROSION, WEAR OF IMPROPER HANDLING ON STORAGE, MISUSE, ABUSE OR OTHER CONDITION BEYOND TOTAL VALVE SYSTEMS CONTROL. TOTAL VALVE SYSTEMS CANNOT BE RESPONSIBLE FOR RELIEF OR SAFETY RELIEF VALVES LEAKING ON STARTUP DUE TO TRASH IN THE LINE. IF EVER A VALVE IS LEAKING DUE TO TECHNITION ERROR IT IS COVERED UNDER THIS WARRANTY. THE LIMITED WARRANTY IS IN LIEU OF ALL OTHER WARRANTIES EXPRESSED OR IMPLIED.

TOTAL VALVE SYSTEMS WARRANTS ALL PARTS AND SPRINGS TO BE FREE FROM MANUFACTURER DEFECTS IN WORKMANSHIP AND MATERIAL. TOTAL VALVE SYSTEMS DOES NOT TAKE RESPONSIBILITY FOR WRONG OR IMPROPER INSTALLATION OF PARTS OR SPRINGS IN ANY VALVE. IT IS THE RESPONSIBILTY OF THE CUSTOMER TO SELECT THE CORRECT PART OR SPRING NUMBER FOR THEIR PARTICULAR VALVE PRODUCT.

• SET PRESSURE
• APPLICATION / SERVICE

• YOUR VALVE MUST BE CODE STAMPED ON NAMEPLATE
• YOUR VALVE MUST BE ECONOMICALLY REPAIRABLE
• TVS MUST HAVE A EQUIVALENT VALVE IN INVENTORY

TVS WILL RECONDITION A RELIEF VALVE IN OUR INVENTORY AND SEND IT TO YOU AT THE FULL RECONDITIONED PRICE. YOU WILL THEN REMOVE YOUR EXISTING RELIEF VALVE AND SEND IT TO US. UPON INSPECTION OF YOUR VALVE, YOU MAY RECEIVE UP TO 50% CREDIT.

• Each valve received is written up and assigned a unique ID work order
• A complete disassembly is performed on each valve
• All bodies and internals are cleaned and blasted with glass beads
• All threads and internal parts are polished for proper operation
• Every body, spring, and spring washers are painted to prevent rusting
• An entire inspection is performed on each valve per the manufactures recommendations. All critical dimensions are checked per manufactures recommendations also.
• Each valve is written up on a requisition form stating the condition and replacement parts needed.
• Purchasing prices the parts and repair for customer approval.
• The valve is staged in the repair area with a carbon copy of the test report until all parts and customer approval has been received.
• Each valve is repaired to the manufactures recommendations and within the requirements of the “VR” program.
• The valve is set to the nameplate set pressure within the tolerances for the given code section (Section I or Section VIII).
• All valves are checked for seat tightness as required by the manufacture or API standards.
• Each valve tested will require a witness by at least one certified technician
• After testing, all external adjusting points are sealed with stainless steel wire and a lead seal.
• A repair tag with the set pressure, unique work order, model number, capacity, and repair date is affixed to each repair.
• A “VR” stamp is also stamped on a repair tag for code repairs within the guide lines of our Quality Control Manual
• The valve then goes to shipping for shipment
• Before any valve is shipped all paperwork and test reports are computer generated for our customers.
• Then the valve is prepared for proper shipment. All threaded valves are wrapped to protect them and all flanged valves must be attached securely to a skid in an upright position.
• Each valve then is touched up with paint and a final inspection is performed to insure everything is correct before shipment.
